Description

The HMEC Manual Capping Machine series offers an ergonomic, cost-effective, and highly portable solution for tightening screw closures, crimping parenteral vials, and pressing bottle lids. Designed to eliminate repetitive strain injury and ensure uniform closure tightness, these systems are indispensable for formulation laboratories, compounding pharmacies, pilot-scale facilities, and production line rework stations.

Available as suspended handheld pneumatic/electric torque drivers or precision benchtop lever-action crimpers, the units feature an adjustable internal mechanical clutch that disengages the moment the targeted torque is achieved. This prevents cap overtightening, thread stripping, or seal deformation, providing consistent leak-tight results across all container types.

How does the handheld capping machine prevent wrist fatigue?

The tool is suspended from an overhead spring balancer that holds the tool's entire weight in suspension. When the operator guides the tool onto the cap and presses down, the tool tightens the cap and the internal clutch automatically slips the instant target torque is reached, preventing torque transfer to the operator's wrist.

Will the silicone chuck scuff or mark decorative cosmetic caps?

No. Our inserts are cast from virgin non-marking silicone and polyurethane that grip metal or high-gloss plastic caps securely without leaving scratches, marks, or residue.

Can this machine be used for de-capping / unscrewing?

Yes, the driver features a directional toggle switch allowing immediate clockwise tightening or counter-clockwise cap removal, making it ideal for laboratory sampling and inspection rework.

What is the delivery time?

Manual capping kits and handheld units are typically available ex-stock or within 5 to 7 business days.
